Our experienced instructors will provide a supportive learning environment to guide students through a reading and writing journey. Students will learn creative writing techniques and build a unique portfolio while practicing new writing skills. We will explore story structure, literary elements, reading comprehension, and creative writing. Each child will receive reading and writing instruction focused to his/her needs. This camp is a great way to prepare students for the upcoming school year and help emphasize the importance of reading and writing.

Reading & Writing Galore

We believe that when a child is learning, it is important to keep their mind engaged!

Each day this camp offers students a new theme to explore: from “All About Me” on Monday, “Summer Senses” on Tuesday, “Opinions Galore!” on Wednesday and “Silly Sequencing” on Thursday. Our experienced instructors will provide a supportive learning environment to guide students through a variety of hands on learning activities such as self-portrait reflections, opinion formulation, appropriate writing techniques, grammar, reading comprehension, and story re-enactment.

‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ Novel Study Camp in Partnership with Temper Pastry

This exclusive camp is sure to fill up, so make sure to register early!

This full day novel study camp is one-of-a-kind! Students will develop a variety of critical thinking techniques, as well as gain an understanding of comprehension strategies and text analysis. Studies have shown that the critical analysis of longer reading materials enhances a student’s critical thinking skills. The novel study portion of this camp will include a combination of comprehension questions, vocabulary development, writing responses, figurative language, and a final assessment. Your child will also have the opportunity to further explore their literary experience by spending 5 hours throughout the week participating in chocolate and baking experience at Temper Pastry.

Novel Study Camp

Help your student discover their love of reading

Our Novel Study Camp is designed for students to understand literary elements and higher comprehension of a chosen novel in a small group setting. This camp will help students develop a variety of critical thinking techniques as well as gain an understanding of comprehension strategies and text analysis. An appropriate novel will be selected to ensure all students attending camp will benefit from the novel presented. Back-to-School Literature Skills

Prepare your child for the upcoming school year!

Our experienced instructors will provide a supportive learning environment to guide students through a reading and writing journey. Students will learn creative writing techniques and build a unique portfolio while practicing new writing skills. We will explore prewriting, idea development with fiction and nonfiction themes. In addition to writing, each child will receive reading instruction focused to his or her needs. Students will definitely enjoy the interactive reading comprehension stories while improving all areas of reading and writing. A complete, take–home story will be developed by the end of the camp. This camp is a wonderful way to prepare your child for the upcoming school year!

Little Explorers

Just because school is out, it doesn’t mean kids should stop learning!

During camp, your Little Explorer will push their creative limits through multi-sensory explorations. This camp will touch on a wide variety of topics, from exploding volcanos at the beach, to creating sensory boards inspired by our nature walks. Your child will get their hands dirty with science experiments, story re-enactment, literacy exercises and much more! It is our goal to keep their little minds exploring through games, projects, and activities. We believe that when your child is having fun and learning, the possibilities are limitless!
