Aspire Chess Club

The game of Chess is a timeless game that will give your child a lifetime of benefits!

This class is for young learners with little or no exposure to chess.  We’ll start by sharing the history of chess, teaching the foundational basics of the game, and then build upon that foundation to introduce key strategies for winning games. Each week’s lesson will include explanation, discussion, activities, followed by, game play between the classmates and our avid chess instructor.

Learning chess will give students skills that they can take with them throughout life: strategy, tactics, creativity, perseverance and calculated risk-taking.
